Reckitt & Coleman Print E-mail

Derek Sayers, who lived in Stephendale Road, has kindly provided this staff photograph* of Reckitt and Coleman. He writes; " Reckitt and Coleman Ltd owned the site in De Morgan Road after  WW2 but it was always called the "Bluebell" before the War,  I believe other products were either made or distributed from there as well.

The photo was taken in the late 1940s or  early 1950s. In the third row up in the centre there is a girl hiding behind someone. Two to the right of her is my Aunt Peggy whose unmarried surname was Sayers - I cannot remember her married surname at the moment. To the right of her is my mother Julie Sayers ( unmarried name Edwards)."
