I worked at Drayton's as an invoice typist from 1973 to 1986. When I was there the Management were all elderly men and it was very old fashioned. The factory part was gone and all the stock was brought in. I remember they had beautiful wooden panelled walls which some idiot decided to paint cream. We were mainly happy until they sold out to Bunzi's Packaging. Drayton's weren't the best payers in the world but it was convenient being just along the road from where I lived in Sullivan Court.
