Newly married, I moved to Fulham in 1962 into a 3-roomed ground floor flat at 68 Stephendale Road which was rented at £2.10.0d per week!

My wife gave birth to our 2 eldest children at Parsons Green Maternity Hospital and attended the Health Clinic in Wandsworth Bridge Road, next to the library.

We moved away from Fulham in 1966.
