I remember a number of large families in Stephendale Road. There were the Carters who had four girls and a boy. I was friendly with Nicky Carter. Then there was the Estella family with three daughters and four sons. I knew Nora and Matilda. Their dad was Joe Estella. And finally there were six boys in the Stubbs family. Alan died young.

I went to Langford and Chelsea Central.  married a girl from Chelsea and moved away from Fulham in 1978. I have been a postman in the Earls Court area for over 30 years.
