My parents lived there about 15 years before I was born so since around 1960. My mum was a regular at Our Mary's church and we shared many hours in the little park up the road 'Pineapple park', as did many people from around there.....

Have great memories!!! Things that generally spring to mind are how Ron's sweet shop (Johnson's) on Stephendale road used to be a great adventure for a young kid and how Townmead Youth club was a state and extremely underutilsed,
