Our GP was Dr.Naidu who was the only GP in London who spoke Chinese (which was very unusual in those days). He was the best doctor we have ever had and his surgery was in Wandsworth Bridge Road. 

My husband Dave and I (Diana) lived at 98A Broughton Road from 1964 to 1968, practically opposite Dewbury's shop and adjacent to the Sunlight laundry. My husband worked in Townmead Road at the Shell/BP terminal up until 1984. My father worked at the Power Station. He was a turbine driver in Townmead Road.

I remember going to Sands End Baths to do my laundry in Wandsworth Bridge Road and doing most of my main shopping there before the supermarkets moved in.

Both my children Mark and Sarah went to Peterborough Road primary school.
